Imitáció – létra a balett teremben

Az installáció része egy 250cm magas, gyalult, négy méteres fenyő lécekből készített létra, amin az elhelyezett különböző anyagok egy balerina alakját formálják. A létrát kiegészítő fotódokumentációt lightboxban látjuk. A címem utalás a történésre és a kész tényre. Mindenki tudja, hogy amit lát az egy létra, viszont az agy azonnal átalakítja a formát egy már ismert emlékké, formává így megjelenik a balerina alakja.
A sziluett még jobban hangsúlyozza a formát, illetve az a tény, hogy egy balett teremben látjuk, megerősíti bennünk a kialakított képet.
A koncepcióm szerint, egy szobafestő munka közben, véletlenszerűen ledobott pólója és a létra együttes képe formai hasonlósághoz vezetett. Így azt a festő az ott talált tárgyakkal, anyagokkal kiegészítette, hogy a számára láthatót még jobban kiemelje mások számára is. A létra merev mozdulata megegyezik egy létező balett mozdulattal. Ahogy feszül a láb, ugyanolyan mereven áll a létra is. Ez a mozdulat a spicc cipő miatt nem sokáig tartható fenn, de a létra kitart. Épp e koncepció követése miatt csak olyan anyagokat használtam fel a balerina létrehozásában, amit egy festő találhat maga körül. A festő pólója alkotja a dresszt, atlétából van a spicc cipő, ami szatyor csíkokkal van megformálva és gézdarabbal a szalag felfuttatva. A tütü- általában fehér tüll anyagból készült balettszoknya, aminek a hossza változó - fóliából, a végtagokat fehér szatyrok alkotják, a fejet egy festőhenger imitálja, a kezet kesztyűvel jeleztem. Az összekötéseket és rögzítéseket szatyorcsíkokkal és ragasztószalaggal oldottam meg.
A parketta védelme miatt a létrák lábát fóliával szokták befedni, illetve azt bekötözni. Ez a látvány utal a spicc cipőre. A fényképezésnél nagy hangsúlyt fordítottam a díszletre.
A kellékek véletlenszerűnek tűnő elhelyezése, előre átgondolt tervezési folyamat eredménye.
Munkám során fontosnak tartottam, hogy a létra és annak árnyéka csak utaljon a balerinára, így teremtve meg a felismerés örömét mások számára.
Imitation - ladder in the ballet room

The part of the installation is a 250 cms tall ladder made of 4 meters long planed pine slats, on which the different garments shape a figure of a ballerina. The photo documentation to the ladder can be seen in a lightbox. The title is a hint for the happening and the fact. Everyone know that what they see is a ladder, but the brain immediately converts the shape to an already known memory and form, so the figure of the ballerina appears.
The silhouette is even emphasizes the shape, or the fact that it is a ballet room it confirms the image inside us.
According to the concept, the combined image of the randomly dropped t-shirt of a painter and the ladder led to a formal similarity. So the painter completed it with objects and fabrics found there to emphasize it more to others. The rigidity of the ladder is the same as a move in ballet. As the leg stretches, the ladder is staying that rigidly. A movement cannot be sustained by the spitz shoe, but the ladder holds on. Because of this concept, I used materials for making the ballerina that can be found around a painter. The t-shirt of the painter makes the dress, the spitz shoes are made of athlete shirts and formed with stripes of nylon bags, the ribbons are made of gauze. The tutu – ballet skirt usually made of white tulle fabric which length is variable – is made of foil, the limbs are formed with white nylon bags, a roller imitates the head and I indicated the hands with gloves. I solved the joinings and fixations with white stripes of nylon bags and tapes.
For the protection of the floor, they usually cover or bandage the legs of the ladder with foil. This sight refers to the spitz shoes. I spent much emphasis ont he scenery when taking pictures.
The seemingly random placement of the materials is the result of a pre-conceived planning process.
During my work, I found it important to make the ladder and its shadow just resemble to the ballerina, creating the joy of recognition for others.
